Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road begins at Torquay and continues 243 km to Allansford. Constructed by over 3000 returned servicemen (Diggers) between 1919 and 1932, the Great Ocean Road hugs the coastline, winding through steep coastal mountains, coastal towns and national parks showcasing stunning ocean vistas of the Southern Ocean and Bass Strait.
